What Are Categories?

Categories are the primary way to organise articles. They help users find related content quickly.

Creating Categories

Categories are created automatically when you assign them to articles:

  1. When creating or editing an article
  2. Select or type a category name
  3. The category is created if it doesn't exist

Best Practices

  • Use broad categories - 5-10 main categories work best
  • Be consistent - Use the same category names throughout
  • Keep it simple - Avoid overly specific categories
  • Think user-first - Categories should match how users think
