What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets you connect AI assistants like Claude Desktop and Cursor IDE to your Zuro knowledge bases. Instead of manually managing your content, you can simply ask your AI assistant to do it for you.

What Can It Do?

With MCP, your AI assistant can help you:

  • Create and update articles - Just describe what you want, and your AI will create or update articles
  • Search your content - Find articles across all your knowledge bases
  • Get analytics - Ask for insights about your most popular content
  • Manage knowledge bases - Create, update, or organize your knowledge bases
  • Moderate comments - Approve or reject comments on your articles

How It Works

  1. Create an MCP Key - Generate a secure key from your Zuro settings
  2. Connect Your AI Assistant - Add Zuro to your AI assistant's configuration
  3. Start Using - Ask your AI assistant to manage your knowledge bases naturally

Requirements

MCP is available on:

  • Professional Plan - Full MCP access
  • Enterprise Plan - Full MCP access with higher rate limits

Free and Starter plans don't include MCP access.

Getting Started

  1. Upgrade to Professional or Enterprise - MCP requires a Professional+ subscription
  2. Generate an MCP Key - Go to Settings → API → MCP Keys
  3. Configure Your AI Assistant - Follow the setup guide for your specific AI assistant
  4. Start Using - Ask your AI assistant to manage your knowledge bases
